Welcome to Macon Georgia!

Whether you're a first time visitor to the Middle Georgia area, or a Middle Georgian returning home from faraway places, welcome!  THIS is THE time to visit Middle Georgia.  Spring has sprung, and with over 300,000 Yoshino cherry trees in bloom, the "Cherry Blossom Capital of the World" is putting on it's best for visitor and resident alike.  Macon is called the "City In A Park" and you'll see why with cherry blossoms, dogwood blooms, and all that Spring has to offer.

For us, that means it's time to throw a party!  From floral shows and arts & crafts, carnival rides and food, parades and fantastic live music, there's something for everyone.  The best place to start is with what we call The Pink List, where we break it all down for you.  If you want to make sure the Cherry Blossoms are in full bloom before visiting then check our Bloom Cam here.

During your stay, check out all the best restaurants Macon has to offer, from fine dining to home-cooked comfort and soul food to traditional Southern barbeque.  You can read many restaurant reviews here.  If you are looking for the Best Macon & Middle Ga. has to offer then be sure to read our TOP 5 List here.

Be sure to check out our many fine attractions, from 10,000 years of history at the Ocmulgee National Monument, to the cutting-edge planetarium at our Museum of Arts & Sciences, to Macon's rich musical heritage including the Allman Brother's Museum: The Big House.

So take in some events, listen to some tunes, see the sights, and taste the delights, and once again, WELCOME to Macon's International Cherry Blossom Festival.  We hope you enjoy all the Good Things Macon and Middle Georgia has to offer.
