Here in the south, one of the most exciting things that can happen in winter is snow. It doesn't happen very often, and when it does it’s usually memorable. Everyone gets excited and terrified all at the same time, schools let out and people clean out the grocery stores. There's something about snow that makes us southerners excited; the rarity!
