McDuffie Center for Strings
Founded by violin virtuoso Robert McDuffie, this prestigious center within the Townsend School of Music at Mercer University is truly unique in its teaching and performance level. Besides world-class performances and inspiring master classes, the dedication of these special students and their faculty mentors shines at chamber music coaching sessions and private lessons, as does the supportive spirit that creates the encouraging environment for them to study and grow. Visitors and residents are invited to attend wonderful concerts, enjoy the elegance of Fickling Hall, walk around the beautiful Mercer campus and stop outside a practice room to hear the students at work.
