In 2006, Backdrops Fantastic purchased and restored a 19th century cotton warehouse in downtown Macon. The old structure presented some interesting challenges, but they think the results were worth it. They wanted to be downtown Macon and their historic space is just perfect for the artistic business.

Vice President, Charles McCollough, enjoys being part of the excitement and cheers when a new business locates downtown. "So many organizations were available for help in making this move, like New Town Macon. I certainly encourage those businesses seeking to locate or relocate in Middle Georgia to check out the fabulous opportunities in Downtown Macon"
