    Opa! Macon, Georgia’s Greek community rolls out the red carpet and puts on its apron to share their culture with all during this late September festival at Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church in Downtown Macon. Some 3,000 guests each year come out to enjoy a weekend of live Greek music and dance, delicious authentic cuisine, tours of the church and shopping courtesy of vendors selling religious items, iconography, music and videos, and traditional Greek clothing and jewelry.
