    Mulberry Street Festival

The last weekend of March, downtown Macon’s Mulberry Street, a beautiful divided avenue with three lanes going each direction, is literally filled with art. Hosted by the Middle Georgia Art Association, Mulberry Street Festival is a juried show and sale of original fine and handmade functional art welcoming thousands of shoppers each year during the city’s Cherry Blossom Festival. More than 100 booths line all four sides of the two city blocks, featuring everything from stained glass and paintings to yard art and handcrafted furniture. The adjacent Cherry Blossom International Food Festival tempts hungry arts patrons with global cuisine, making it easy to spend all day amidst the blossoms and beauty of this free family festival.
