Macon's Premiere Cycling Race is organized by the Georgia Neurosurgical Institute Cycling Team and the collegiate Mercer Cycling team in partnership with area businesses, Mercer Village, and Mercer University. Their mission is to inspire new cyclists to race and for those existing racers to compete at the highest level possible around one of Georgia's premiere venues. The Macon Cycling Classic is part of the Georgia Championship Series and the Lance Armstrong Junior Race Series (LAJRS)
