Ocmulgee Heritage Trail

The Ocmulgee Heritage Trail — often called the River Walk — occupies a lovely stretch along the Ocmulgee River. The paved trail, perfect for running and biking, reaches from Central City Park to Jackson Springs Park in the Shirley Hills neighborhood. Along the way are stops at Gateway Park with dancing water fountains, big shady trees, picturesque overlooks, bird-watching spots, boat launches, and public art installations.
