Macon Arts Alliance is calling muralists to submit proposals for a public mural project made possible by the Downtown Challenge, a project of the Community Foundation of Central Georgia.
Three artists will be selected to produce consecutive murals in twelve 12' x 14' sections of a 264'+ exterior wall of the Macon Bus Terminal Transfer Station. These paintings will provide an aspect of an interactive experience for the community and display uplifting and positive imagery for the citizens of Macon Georgia.
The deadline to submit proposals is Tuesday August 15, 2017 at noon.

All applications will be review by a jury of an art advisory committee that represents a cross section of Art Professionals from Macon including administrators, educators and artists. Awarded artists will receive a materials budget and stipend.

Restrictions: No historical or political content
Notification of award: September 15th, 2017
Projected Start Date: October 12th, 2017
Projected Completion Date: November 15th, 2017
