Ocmulgee National Monument Call For Volunteers

Would you like to be a part of Ocmulgee National Monument at night?  Do you want help out in the community?

The folks at Ocmulgee National Monument are looking for volunteers to help out with their Lantern Light Tours during the Cherry Blossom Festival. Volunteers are needed to help with set up and take down of 200 luminaries over a half mile path. Volunteers are also needed to help hand out lanterns and assist visitors during the event.

Volunteers are needed from 5:30 pm-10:30 pm on March 16, 17, 18, 23, 24, & 25. Volunteers must be at least 14 years old and must be able to walk 2 miles and stand for long periods of time. Please contact the park either through Facebook Messaging or email [email protected] if you are interested in helping out during this event.
