The Frogs of Tattnall Square Park Childrens Book

Thanks to a very generous donor, Friends Of Tattnall Square Park will publish 1,500 copies of John Carter's book, The Frogs of Tattnall Square Park!  "Readers of “The Frogs of Tattnall Square Park” will go on a trip through history with the 13 frogs as they witness important events of the park’s past.  Among other scenes, frogs see Union Army troops camp in the park during the Civil War, the original fountain’s construction, the desegregation of the park and Mercer University’s involvement in the area’s improvements, Carter said."

According to Andrew Silver, "because of an anonymous donation, every single penny of book purchases will go directly toward doing great things that you love in Tattnall Square Park.  Thanks to the generous donor for this gift, and thanks to John Carter and all of the talented neighbor-artists for laboring together to create this beautiful book for the park!"

Be on the lookout for the book in early January!
