Bibb Co. Board of Commissioners Announces Animal Welfare Center Groundbreaking Friday, June 14, 2013

ANIMAL WELFARE CENTER GROUNDBREAKING FRIDAY, JUNE 14, 2013

Bibb County, GA. (06/12/2013) –  The Bibb County Board of Commissioners does hereby announce that the Groundbreaking Ceremony for the new Macon-Bibb County Animal Welfare Center will take place on Friday, June 14, 2013 at 10:00 a.m.  The ceremony will take place at 4200 Fulton Mill Road, Macon, GA 31216.

The new Animal Welfare Center is a SPLOST funded project that will help to provide better facilities for the lost, stray, and injured animals in Bibb County, as well as providing a better environment for staff and citizens coming to the shelter to adopt animals. The building is designed by Tevis Architects in conjunction with Dunwody/Beeland Architects, Inc.
