Weaver’s Weekend is proud to announce that local country singer & Stratford Academy student SAVANNAH ALDAY will be performing a special opening set for the event. Savannah has played numerous fundraising events around Middle Georgia and has quickly made a name for herself.
The Weaver's Weekend Concert kicks off at The Crazy Bull on Saturday, August 24th 2013 at 8:00pm. Savannah Alday begins at 8:15pm sharp, so guests are encouraged to arrive early. The Friends of Mike Weaver Foundation co-chair Stephen Adams says of the event, "This year will mark the 6th annual Weaver's Weekend. What started as a gathering in memory of a friend lost too soon has turned into a charitable organization that has donated more than $20,000.00 to the local community."
Weaver's Weekend also consists of a Golf Tournament scheduled for August 24, 12:00 p.m. at Bowden Golf Course. For information on participating in the Golf Tournament, please contact Will Argo at [email protected].
All proceeds from the events benefit the Friends of Mike Weaver Foundation. The sole mission of the Foundation is to enhance youth sports in Middle Georgia.
