(MACON, GA - 08/26/2013)  Middle Georgians prepare for top symphony players to bring their fusion of orchestra and popular music to Macon for a three part series -- Macon Pops.  Featuring some of the best, handpicked musicians from Macon, Atlanta and throughout Georgia, Macon Pops is sure to pique the interest of music lovers of all genres in this one-of-a-kind concert series.

Multi-Grammy® nominated drummer/percussionist, Steve Moretti is partnering with renowned pops conductor and Grammy® award winning arranger Matt Catingub to bring Middle Georgia a new 40-piece pops orchestra featuring world-class entertainers.  Under the artistic direction of Catingub, who performs regularly with Moretti, Macon Pops will deliver diverse, world-class musical programs to our community.  Moretti is a Macon resident who tours extensively playing with pops orchestras around the United States, Canada and
