Barnesville Buggy Days celebrates Barnesville’s heritage as the Buggy Capital of the South during the late 1800′s. This festival includes an arts and crafts show, food for everyone, live music and street dance, a parade, and more. Fun for the whole family!

Parade - Saturday - 2pm
Everyone loves a good parade! The Buggy Days Festival hosts a parade each year on the Saturday of the event starting at 2:00 p.m. Line-up and staging for the parade begins at 12:00 p.m. The parade will organize and begin near Summers Field and Gordon State College and will work its way down College Drive, Forsyth Street, Main Street (and then Thomaston Street). You will see horses, buggies, floats, beauty queens, and much more! The parade typically lasts around 45 minutes up to an hour.
Crafts & Food - Saturday and Sunday
The Buggy Days Festival hosts over 100 arts and craft booths and over 25 food booths. Vendors come from throughout the region, even out of state, to participate in the annual festivities. Whether you are looking for a handmade treasure or a delicious treat, there is surely something for everyone.
