One of Warner Robins’ notable bands, The Crescent Moon Dogs, gears up to introduce their highly anticipated premiere album ‘Familiar Faces.’
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Macon, GA) November 9, 2015 – The eclectic, edgy and penetrating sounds of one of Middle Georgia’s most notable bands is bracing to host a CD Release Party for their debut album. ‘The Crescent Moon Dogs’ (Steven Bell, Lance Rodriguez, Dustin Teel, Bronnie Turner) will be performing tracks from their new album – ‘Familiar Faces’ – during the release party.
The concert will take place at the Hummingbird State and Taproom in downtown Macon. Food will be provided by Outlaw Barbecue starting at 7pm and music will begin at 9:30pm.
‘Familiar Faces’ is the result of months of lyrical and musical collaboration. “Our lyrics kind of come from what we’ve experienced as [young men] coming into maturity: dealing with love, loss, and life in general,” explains lead vocalist, Steven Bell. “One of us will have a song idea, sometimes it’s the full song idea and sometimes it’s just the parts.” The rest comes together – often during a jam session.
The band members are not new to the music scene. The group has opened for larger bands throughout Middle Georgia and hopes their fans will enjoy their debut project. “We’ve gone from playing at a number of venues to recording our music,” says Steven.
