Bragg Jam Will Not Disapoint

It’s that time again--time for one of the best musical events Middle Georgia has to offer. That’s right--it’s Bragg Jam!

This is one of my favorite events because it really works. The folks at Bragg Jam have really made a science of the festival business and every year is better than the last! This is one of those events that never lets you down--with wall to wall music food and drink, Macon can count on Bragg Jam to bring the city to life every time.

If you don’t know how Bragg Jam started, here it is in a nut shell:

Inspired by late musicians and brothers Brax & Tate Bragg and operated as a 501c3 under a volunteer board of directors, Bragg Jam has now given over $200,000 back to local charities in memory of Brax and Tate. Proceeds will continue to benefit the Ocmulgee Heritage Trail and other efforts that promote nature, art and music in the community. Since 1999, Bragg Jam has evolved from an impromptu jam session to citywide music festival to a full-scale arts festival and Macon’s premier music event.

What I think amazes me most is how much time and effort the Bragg Jam board spends on getting truly unique and outstanding bands to participate in this event year after year. From rising stars to famous names, Bragg Jam has it all.

This will be my second year hosting the green room at my Shadow Sound Studio and I truly look forward to meeting all these amazing folks during the festival.

It is all-day long on July 30 from about 12pm until 2am.  Trust me, this is a day of music you can’t afford to miss!
