Legendary keyboardist and co-founding member of The Allman Brothers Band Gregg Allman appears to be on the mend! There’s good news on the Gregg Allman front. Allman's son Devon Allman reports his father has been released from the hospital. The legendary man behind the Hammond made a quick “milkshake stop” at Chick-Fil-A before heading home.

Last week the Allman's camp released a statement cancelling all of his upcoming appearances through Allman's Laid Back Fest in Atlanta due to “serious health issues.”
"I want to thank my fans and friends for supporting me while I rest up and focus on getting better and back on the road as soon as I can," says Allman. "I've been working hard with my band, my pride and joy, to play our music for everyone. We'll see y'all in October."
The statement released on Allman's website mentioned Gregg was receiving treatment at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. No further word on Allman’s condition or his specific health issues have been published.
