George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic To Headline the Street Party

Just Announced!

George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic will be headlining the 2017 Cherry Blossom Festival Street Party!

The Street Party is back and will bring amazing musical acts to one stage in Downtown Macon on Saturday, April 1st. In addition to headliner George Clinton and the Parliament Funkadelics, this year's Street Party lineup will include singer-songwriters Me and Molly, and JD McPherson, soul legend Mavis Staples, and legend keyboardist Chuck Leavell.

The Grand Finale is bigger and better than ever this year with the addition of a headliner concert!  Mothers Finest will close the 35th Cherry Blossom Festival with a Bang!  This free event will feature tethered hot air balloon rides, fantastic music entertainment, a fireworks show and it is all free!

One of the funkiest, most creative, rockin’ in your face, good time bands that ever graced this planet. You know them, love them and still groove to the classics like "Baby Love" and "Mickey's Monkey". Touring the world full time, their new material brings the fire that fans have come to expect and they never disappoint. Their live performance is an energetic event with an incredible sound track, not to be missed, and not soon forgotten.

The Grand Finale starts at 4 pm and the Fireworks will shoot at dusk.  Parking is limited on Wesleyan’s campus, so the Macon Transit Authority is graciously providing park and ride shuttles from Kroger on Forsyth Road, the Museum and Arts and Sciences, Northway Church on Zebulon Rd., and Tattnall Square Baptist Church.

Street Party tickets are only $20 in advance and $25 day of show for this amazing lineup!
