Macon Native To Appear on NBC's The Voice
Season 14 of The Voice will kick off tonight at 8 p.m. on NBC and Macon native singer-songwriter Molly Stevens will get her chance to shine!
She announced the news to her fans, family and friends in a Facebook post:
Stevens, who is 35, was raised singing in church and at many revivals led by her grandfather who was a celebrated and well-known preacher around the Southeast. Growing up in Macon, home to the Allman Brothers and Ottis Redding, played a large role in creating her soulful voice. Stevens moved to Raleigh from Nashville, Tenn., about three years ago to join her fiance, who owns the Chick-fil-A franchise. When she’s not on the road touring, Stevens is a substitute teacher at Millbrook High School.
"The Voice" and its talented contestants have stolen our attention and melted our hearts with inspiring stories of real people following their passion for music. Grammy-winning musician Kelly Clarkson will join judges Alicia Keys, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton as they search for the best voices in America and mentor these singers to become artists. America will decide which singer will be worthy of the grand prize.
Do not miss NBC's The Voice season premiere, tonight at 8pm.
