NuWay Coming to Mercer Village
You won't have to go a long way for a NuWay Now
Nu-Way Weiners is opening a new location at the Lofts at Mercer in Mercer Village.
Nu-way, America's second oldest hot dog chain, has found a new location the Mercer Village as first reported by The Telegraph.
The celebrated hot dog chain is moving into the space that is presently occupied by Natasha Phillips' Fountain of Juice. The Fountain of Juice location at Mercer Village will close for good over the upcoming Thanksgiving break. Fountain of Juice first opened in 2011 in Mercer Village and FOJ’s additional location at 4123 Forsyth Road will remain open.
Sierra Development Group, who manages the Lofts at Mercer Village has confirmed that Nu-Way owners Jim Cacavias and Spyros Dermatas "will start their build-out (of the space) in December, and they hopefully will be open in February or in March at the latest.
The owners of Nu-Way are still planning to rebuild at 430 Cotton Ave. following the March fire that destroyed the flagship location where Nu-Way first opened in 1916.
Nu-Way will have 10 locations throughout Central Georgia when the Mercer Village location opens.
According to Sierra Development, more announcements concerning the modification will be released next week.
