Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers Opens Today!
Restaurant makes its Central Georgia debut today!
Wichita, Kansas-based Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers recently broke ground at 678 Lake Joy Road near the intersection of Lake Joy Road and Ga. 96, according to a news release. The restaurant, which opened today, will serve a variety of menu items, including lean ground beef steakburgers, Vienna Beef hot dogs, and shoestring fries, as well as dessert treats prepared with a choice of chocolate or vanilla frozen custard that is freshly churned throughout each day. The fast-casual restaurant franchise plans donate 10 percent of its frozen custard sales for the first month to local non-profit organization Wyatt’s Wish. Freddy’s serves
The restaurant seats 100 guests, with additional seating on the patio. Drive-thru service is also available. Hours of operation are Sunday through Thursday 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Wyatt’s Wish is a local, Central Georgia non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds for Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA). Funds raised through Wyatt’s Wish are split between SMA research (finding a cure/treatment) and financing bubble masks for babies currently living with SMA.
