Off the Vine Closing

The Vineville Avenue staple for wine connoisseurs is closing at the end of the month.

After many years of serving fine wine, Off the Vine is closing.  The Vineville Avenue staple for wine connoisseurs is closing according to a post on the store's Facebook page.

Partners Jeff Button and Mike Daughtry a first opened up shop in 2004 as a boutique called Jeffrey Michaels. After eight years in business during a very tough recession economy, the guys decided it was time for a change. In 2012 they changed the name to Off the Vine, and began offering wines that the big box stores didn't stock.  Located in the 3000 block of Vineville, Off the Vine quickly became a wine lover's paradise.  With their Enomatic Wine Tasting System that serves 40 wines by the taste, half glass or full glass, Off the Vine is known for their extensive line of specialty wines, relaxing atmosphere and knowledgeable staff.

Off the Vine was voted "Best Wine Selection" 2014 by The Macon Telegraph readers.
