This can't-miss local favorite is made with ricotta cheese, spinach, mushrooms, garlic and extra cheese.
Explore Georgia has released it's 2018 state-wide culinary guide, Georgia Eats. The fourth annual guide features "10 flavor tours that showcase inspiring dining options, a gallery of the state’s most Instagrammable foods, festivals, mouthwatering recipes from a few of Georgia’s celebrated chefs and the ever popular “100 Plates Locals Love” list.
The 100 Plates Locals Love list is Georgia's can't-miss dishes that were nominated because of their recommendations to family, friends and people who visit the state. Nominations from around the state are gathered via ExploreGeorgia.org and evaluated by a panel of judges who curate the list down to the final designees.
Ingleside Village Pizza, owned and operated by Tina Dickson, was the only restaurant from Macon awarded the 2017/2018 100 Plates Locals Love distinction. Named in this year's list for their White Pizza, this can’t-miss, local favorite is made with ricotta cheese (instead of red sauce), spinach, mushrooms, garlic and extra cheese. This is the second year Ingleside Village Pizza has made the list, the first being in 2016 for their sloppy breadsticks.
