National Junior Ranger Day

April 21, 2018

Whether you have done the Junior Ranger program with Ocmulgee National Monument or not, join them for a day of special activities to celebrate National Junior Ranger Day and National Park Week!

The park's regular Junior Ranger booklet will be offered, but they will also have a special worksheet for the Centennial booklet from 2016! Doing any of the booklets will earn you a Junior Ranger badge!  You can also make a paper Junior Ranger hat and try on a Park Ranger shirt to go with it!

They will have two rounds of activities (one set in the morning and one set in the afternoon). Children must be accompanied by parents at all times. These activities are designed to let you come and go-you do not have stay the full 45 minutes. In between activities you can visit the Visitor Center, go on a walk, or work on your booklet!
