Gatekeeper's Top Picks
Jodie Jam 2018
August 11, 2018
This year, Jodie Jam will feature nationally touring artists BISHOP GUNN and local favorite ROYAL JOHNSON In memory of longtime friend and volunteer of the museum, Jodie McNeil Gooch
Silent auction, food and drinks for sale!
BISHOP GUNN, hailing from Natchez, MS, is one of Rolling Stone magazine's "10 New Country Artists You Need to Know" - and for a good reason. They've been on the road with Lynyrd Skynyrd, Blackberry Smoke, and they'll be making their Macon debut at The Big House Museum on August 11. Check out their brand new album "Natchez" and get ready for a fun night of good ole' southern music.
ROYAL JOHNSON is a Middle Georgia band that packs a funky, bluesy punch. Lesa Dixon from Southland Magazine describes Royal Johnson as "...southern rock, old school blues, a touch of bluegrass and the harmony of southern gospel. The result is a treasure of lyrics, melody and hard hitting gravel.” We're excited to have them back at the museum for Jodie Jam!
