Gatekeeper's Top Picks
February 22, 2019
Interested in spending more time outdoors? Want to learn where to ride your bike, how to access the river, where to hike and camp?
At 7:00 pm there will be presentation on the 7 Islands Road, which is one of the oldest roads in America. Originally a path built by Native Americans, parts of it are still in use today and the road crosses the Ocmulgee north of Macon at 7 Islands. The talk is a fascinating exploration of a little known part of Middle Georgia's history.
The event is free and there will be door prizes from the sponsors/hosts. No reservations needed and it's a family friendly event. Call 478-733-3386 if you have questions and visit us on Facebook for more information.
