1. eugene Dunwody
Dunwody/Beeland, Architects, Inc. is among the oldest architectural firms in the State of Georgia. Founded in 1915 by W. Elliott Dunwody, Jr., this professional office today boasts of a multi-disciplinary practice perpetuated by the late Mr. Dunwody’s direct heirs and others. Eugene Dunwody graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1956 with Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Architecture Degrees. He is registered to practice architecture in Georgia and Florida. After serving three years as a Reserve Officer in charge of construction in the U.S. Navy Civil Engineer Corps, Mr. Dunwody joined the firm of W. Elliott Dunwody, Jr., in 1959 as a designer until 1964 when he was put in charge of overall Design and Production. In 1968, he formed the firm of Dunwody and Company, Architects, now known as Dunwody/ Beeland, Architects, Inc.

2. dr. ronald freeman, m.d., f.a.c.s.
Dr. Freeman attended the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia where he earned a B.S. in pre-med in 1961. He went on to the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia where he earned a M.D. degree in 1965. Following medical school, Dr. Freeman completed an internship and surgical residence at Charlotte Memorial Hospital, Charlotte, N.C. in 1969.
From 1969 to 1970, Dr. Freeman spent time as a general surgeon for the U.S. Air Force Academy, and then went to Vietnam where he was commander of an advisor team and surgeon from 1970 to 1971. Then Dr. Freeman completed a plastic surgery residence at St. Louis University from 1971 to 1973. Upon the completion of this residence, he went into private practice with Plastic Surgery Associates of Macon, P.C. where he has been providing patients with quality plastic surgery services since 1973.

House of Hines is locally owned and operated by its original owner, Hines Causey, who started his formal wear business nearly 50 years ago in downtown Macon. House of Hines was established in 1965 on Mulberry Street.
