Top 5 Things To Do for Halloween
1. Haunted Montrose
Haunted Montrose is a professional haunted attraction, located East of Macon, about a 30 minute ride along I-16. It is really 4 different experiences, and each one is worth the trip.
In the Old SlaughterHouse, you meet the Slaughter family. They may just invite you to stay for dinner. The lucky ones may find their way out. In experiMental, you pass through an insane asylum, and the inmates welcome you to their nightmare. In Havoc3D, you DO check out of reality, and into a 3d nightmare of the fantastic. Disorientation is the order of the day. Finally, if you survived all that's come before, you enter The Raven. Check your phobias at the door.
Professionally designed and operated, each area dips into some of the most hidden fears of your deepest subconscious. Some to our youngest and earliest fears of dark and dread. Some into the nightmare of human psychosis. The Raven isn't the only area of this attraction that pays homage to the great Edgar Allan Poe. Just read the writing on the walls. The sets are beautifully (if you want to call it that) appointed, and the makeup professionally, generously, applied. If you want to confront your fears, this is the place to go.
Rates: $16-$32, depending on day and if you want to skip the line.
