The 2018 Annual Thriller Parade takes place Friday, October 26th in the Cherry Street Plaza in Downtown Macon! If you want to participate in the Thriller Parade, join us for rehearsals in Tattnall Square Park each Thursday at 7p.m. Since 2006 , the Thriller Dance parade in downtown Macon has been an annual tradition.  It's Middle Georgia's largest Halloween Street Party.  On October 26th, the pre-show is at 7pm, the parade is at 9pm, and the street party follows!

4. Downtown Macon Trick Or Treat

On Halloween (Wednesday, October 31) from 4pm to 7pm, downtown Macon businesses and organizations will open their doors to trick-or-treaters. Families are invited to visit downtown retailers and restaurants in our walkable and safe urban core. Furry friends are welcome too!

Stop by our Halloween Headquarters located in Hollingsworth Park (on Poplar Street in the block between Third Street and MLK Jr. Blvd.) to pick up a map to guide you through our Treat Trail. Also be sure to grab a Halloween Comicfest Scavenger Hunt sponsored by Comics Plus of Macon to help you find all the free comic books scattered in businesses throughout downtown.

As you visit downtown businesses, venture through alleys filled with ghastly games and spooky surprises organized by the Downtown Macon Community Association.

5. City Lights & Hallow Nights - Gray Georgia

The 2018 Annual City Lights and Hallow Nights will kick off Saturday October 20th at 5:30pm in the parking lots of First Baptist Gray. This is a Fall Festival and Truck or Treat with 1000 pounds of candy, carnival games, inflatables, costume contest, free boiled peanuts, face painting, and petting zoo.  From
Food vendors will be on site for dinner purchase.

Admission for a family is a kid-friendly snack to benefit kids in JC Elementary.
