1.  Zombie Run Guardian Center - October 25, 2014

Have you ever yelled at the screen while watching a Zombie movie?  Do you believe that YOU would definitely out-run the Zombie’s when the Zombie Apocalypse hits?  Well now is your chance to prove it!  Zombie Run is a Zombie-infested 5K obstacle course fun run.  Run as an individual or form a team to navigate the obstacle course and avoid the flesh eating Zombies!  This event is being held at the Guardian Center, a former cold-war nuclear missile plant converted to be the Nation’s premier disaster preparation and validation center.  It features a modern cityscape, 300 vehicles, a working subway and highway built to D.O.T specifications which will serve as the stage for the apocalypse.

2.  Susan G. Komen Central Georgia Race for the Cure - October 18, 2014

Running for a purpose is the best motivation!  The registration fee gets you to the start line, but it’s your fundraising effort that will help find the cures.  The Susan G. Komen Central Georgia Race for the Cure is Saturday, October 18, 2014 at North Peach Park in Byron, Georgia. Join the 5K run/walk to help support the promise to save lives and end breast cancer forever. This annual Race raises funds for Susan G. Komen Central Georgia, which provides life-saving breast health services to women in Central Georgia.

3.  Ocmulgee Mounds Run/Walk 2014 - November 8, 2014

Breathtaking scenery always makes running easier, which is why this 5K is one you won’t want to miss!  The race route will be through the scenic Ocmulgee Indian Mounds, and there is no other race like it in Macon.  Proceeds will benefit the interpretive and educational programs at Ocmulgee National Monument.  Participants receive a commemorative Ocmulgee national Monument Race t-shirt with pre-registration and day of registration (while supplies last).

4.  Reindeer Run 5K & Santa Stroll - December 5, 2014

Give a different gift this holiday season by running this annual 5K event benefiting The Children’s Hospital.  This annual Christmas downtown tradition will be held at Tattnall Square Park, and is part of the Macon Tracks Piedmont Orthopedic Complex Race Series and the Run & See Georgia Grand Prix.  This is a fun family event, and even Santa will be lacing up his running shoes!

5.  Museum of Aviation Marathon, Half-Marathon, 5K Run/Walk - January 17, 2015

Start the New Year off right with the 19th Annual Museum of Aviation Foundation.  All three courses are USA Track and Field certified (Boston Marathon qualifier) and located on beautiful Robins Air Force Base.  This is a family friendly event.
