Built from 1855-1859 in the Italian Renaissance Revival Style, a marked contrast to the more restrained Greek revival architecture of the antebellum period. The 18,000 square foot mansion spans four floors and is crowned by a three-story cupola.

4. Planetarium-Museum of Arts and Sciences
This Planetarium is on the leading edge of digital technology with the first installation in Georgia and only the third in America, it incorporates a new standard of projection that is four times high resolution that that of our best HDTV images.
